After a record low number of people watched Monday’s WWE Raw, Smackdown was up slightly in the overnight numbers bringing in 1.977 million viewers up barely from 1.948 million the week before and way down from the show a year ago, which pulled in 2.481 million. It is the third least watched Smackdown since the show went live in 2016.
Among shows on Tuesday night, Smackdown finished only 12th in total viewership but was third in the 18-49 demographic with a 0.68 rating. In theory, next week should see a slight bump in viewership coming off of TLC but WWE should probably brace themselves for the two weeks after that as Smackdown will fall on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day and both shows will be taped. It’s quite likely we will see the two least watched episodes of Smackdown “Live” in history.
