Match Number One: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable versus Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy (with Alexa Bliss)
Jordan and Murphy start things off. Murphy goes for the legs but Jordan avoids him. Murphy with a single leg and Jordan avoids a leg sweep and Jordan with a waist lock take down fr a near fall. Jordan with an arm bar. Gable tags in and Jordan with a fireman’s carry and Gable with a knee drop and wrist lock. Murphy with a reversal into a wrist lock and he works on Gable’s arm. Gable with a bridge to try to reverse but Murphy pulls Gable down by the hair. Blake tags in and Gable with a side head lock and drop toe hold.
Gable with a waist lock and Blake with a standing switch. Blake with a hammer lock but Gable with a snap mare to escape. Blake with a kick and he flips over Gable but Gable kips up and Blake backs up. Gable with a flying arm drag and another flying arm drag. Gable with a head scissors take down. Murphy tags in and Gable with a Saito take down for a near fall.
Murphy hurts his knee and the referee checks on him. The referee is out of position and that allows Blake to try to hit Gable from behind but Gable sees him coming and Gable stops him, but Murphy with a clip to Gable. Murphy puts Gable in the Tree of Woe and he punches Gable in the knee. Blake tags in and he punches Gable in the leg.
Blake puts Gable’s leg in the ring. Murphy picks up Bliss to kick Gable in the leg and Blake gets a near fall. Murphy tags in and he puts Gable’s leg on the ropes and he works on the leg. Gable kicks Murphy over the top rope to the floor. Gable crawls to his corner while Blake sends Murphy in to tag Blake in and Blake stops Gable from making the tag. Jordan is able to tag in and Jordan with punches and a drop kick to Blake. Jordan with a drop kick to Murphy followed by an Exploder suplex to Blake. Jordan sends Murphy into the air and face first into the mat. Jordan suplexes Blake onto Murphy and then he runs Blake into the corner.
Gable tags in and they hit Grand Amplitude for the three count.

Alex Reyes is with Emma and Dana Brooke in the back and she talks about Emma’s match against Carmella next week. Dana tells Adam that he is not important. The thing that was important was that it was all about Bayley. Carmella has not done a thing and she will not do a thing to Emma.
Emma says that Carmella does not have the skills to beat Bayley or herself. Dana and Emma talk about how Carmella lost to Blue Pants. Emma points out how lucky Carmella has been. Carmella’s luck runs out next week.
Dana taps Adam or Alex or whatever on the top of the head and we go to commercial.

Match Number Two: Nia Jax ( Eva Marie) versus Liv Morgan
They lock up and Nia backs Morgan into the corner and gives a clean break. Nia misses a clothesline and Liv goes for a crucifix but Nia blocks it and Nia does not go down on a sunset flip attempt. Nia tosses Liv around the ring by the hair. Nia with a cobra clutch on Liv. Liv with a drop kick and she tries for a guillotine but Nia throws Liv away. Liv goes for a cross body and Nia catches her and Nia hits a side slam. Nia with the leg drop for the three count.
Winner: Nia Jax
Carmella is in the back and she says she heard what Emma and Dana said to her. She will beat Emma all by herself next week. She will prove all of the doubters wrong and show that the Emmalution is a joke.
Colin says that they heard what Dash and Dawson said about them. It appears that you have been stuffing your faces because you have some fluff behind your title belts. You should be running on the treadmill.
Enzo says the only credibility you could put behind those words is the titles. He has not had a good Christmas. He says he almost whooped someone’s ass who was filling his gas because he looked like you.
We have a Baron Corbin video package. He says there are two type of people. People like him and people like you. He tells everyone to watch their backs and that you cannot fight fate.

Match Number Three: Bull Dempsey versus Alex Riley
Bull does jumping jacks as the bell rings and Riley with a kick and Irish whip. Riley blocks a kick in the corner and sends Bull into the turnbuckles. Riley with forearms and punches in the corner. Riley with more punches and the referee warns him. Riley with an elbow in the corner and follows with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall.
Riley with a reverse chin lock. Bull with jabs to Riley and Riley with a spinebuster. Riley with a running leg lariat for the three count.
Winner: Alex Riley
Elias Samson is in the back and he is playing his guitar.

We are back and Alex Riley is in the back. He says that for the past four months, he has been sending e-mails and texts to Stamford to tell them how he was doing. He got zero responses. He had a lot of time on his hands. He watched a lot of the WWE network and a lot of NXT. He has been seeing Sami Zayn’s return. He knows what Apollo Crews had for breakfast three days ago. We haven’t heard about Alex Riley. He says that is what hard work and eight years in the business gets you. Alex says he guesses that you were surprised to see him.
Match Number Four: Elias Samson versus John Skyler
Samson with a hard Irish whip. But Skyler with a European uppercut. Samson with a drop kick. Samson with kicks in the corner. Samson with forearms and he sends Skyler to the mat. Samson chokes Skyler with his boot. Samson with a punch to the midsection followed by a forearm to the head. Skyler with punches but Samson with a jumping knee.
Samson with a swinging neck breaker for the three count.
Winner: Elias Samson
Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder talk about the new Vaudevillain videos. Mojo says he does not understand them. Zack says that he wishes Mojo would be quiet. Mojo says he gets all the chicks and Zack says he does fine. Mojo talks about his Zubaz and Zack says he does not wear his Zubaz. Mojo says he sees Zack sleeping in his Zubaz. Mojo says he will have his back next week against the Vaudevillains.

Tom and Corey talk about the NXT Title match between Apollo Crews and Finn Balor. They will meet next week in a non-title match.
Match Number Five: Sami Zayn versus Samoa Joe versus Baron Corbin in a Number One Contender Match
Zayn appears to be the early target as they circle in the ring. Corbin punches Joe and Zayn with a side head lock to Corbin. Corbin sends Zayn into Joe. Corbin with punches to Zayn while Joe goes to the floor. Zayn with forearms and Corbin with a side head lock. Corbin goes over the top rope to the floor. Zayn goes for a flip dive but Joe trips Zayn and pulls him to the floor. Joe chops Zayn and sends Zayn into the ring steps. Joe with chops and he slams Zayn’s head into the apron.
Zayn with forearms but Joe with a chop. Joe with a running boot to Corbin’s chest. Joe with a head butt to Zayn and Joe goes into the ring to break the non-existent count. Joe sends Zayn into the ring and he follows. Joe with jabs to Zayn in the corner. Joe with a forearm to Zayn but Zayn with a forearm of his own. Zayn with forearms and Joe with a European uppercut. Joe with a snap mare followed by a chop and kick but he misses the knee drop. Zayn with a drop kick to the temple.
Joe rolls to the floor and Corbin comes back in and hits a Northern Lariat. Corbin punches Zayn. Corbin with a hard Irish whip and we go to commercial.
We are back and Corbin punches Zayn and follows with an Irish whip but Zayn with an elbow. Corbin runs into a boot and Joe with a running forearm to Corbin. Zayn with a forearm to Joe. Joe with slaps to Zayn but Zayn with a clothesline of his own. Joe goes to the floor and Zayn with a clothesline to send Corbin over the top rope to the floor. Zayn with a flip dive onto Joe and Corbin.
Zayn picks up Corbin on the floor and sends him back into the ring. Corbin with Deep Six for a near fall. Joe with a chop to Corbin followed by a reverse atomic drop and running boot to the head. Joe with a drop toe hold onto Corbin followed by a back senton onto Zayn and Corbin. Joe with a power slam to Zayn for a near fall. Joe sends Zayn into the turnbuckles and Zayn collapses in the corner. Joe with jabs and chops followed by slaps and Zayn crumbles in the corner again.
Joe sends Zayn into the corner and onto the turnbuckles for the musclebuster but Zayn with forearms to the back. Joe with an enzuigiri and Corbin with a forearm to Joe’s back to stop Joe. Joe goes to the floor and Corbin punches Zayn. Corbin climbs the turnbuckles for a superplex but Zayn with punches to stop Corbin.
Zayn with a head butt and Zayn leaps over Corbin and Zayn with a Blue Thunder Bomb to Corbin for a near fall. Zayn collapses to the mat again and he cannot capitalize. Joe chokes Zayn from the floor and takes him down on the floor. Zayn starts to lose consciousness and Joe returns to the ring. Joe with jabs to Corbin and hits a roaring elbow. Joe with a running knee into the corner. Corbin catches Joe and hits End of Days but Zayn breaks up the cover.
All three men are down in the ring. Corbin shows some rage and he hits a clothesline on Zayn in the corner. Corbin with punches to Zayn in the corner and the referee checks on Zayn. Corbin runs into the corner and Zayn stops Corbin and hits an Exploder into the turnbuckles. Zayn with the Helluva Kick but Joe pulls Zayn out of the ring to break up the cover.
Zayn runs into a chop from Joe on the floor. Joe goes for a running shoulder but Zayn moves and Joe hits the ring steps. Zayn gets into the ring. Zayn with a Sharpshooter on Corbin and the referee checks on Corbin. Zayn pulls Corbin into the center of the ring even though the ropes will not break the hold. Joe with a crossface to Corbin while Zayn has Corbin in the Sharpshooter and Corbin taps.
The official stands between Joe and Zayn in the center of the ring after the match and he tries to explain what happened. Joe thinks that he won the match while Zayn is not sure of who is the winner of the match.
The referee says that since Corbin was in submission holds by both men they may both have won the match.
William Regal comes out and the referee explains the situation.
Zayn and Joe plead their cases to Regal and Zayn wants to know what the controversy is.
Regal says that he will have to review the tape and he cannot make a decision. Regal wants the referee to come with him so they can make a decision.
Joe says there is nothing to review since he applied the Crossface and Corbin tapped out.
