It has become an annual tradition at WrestleMania Axxess to select one of the all-time great professional wrestling legends and immortalize them in the annals of WWE history with a life-size bronze statue.
Over the past few years we have seen the likes of Ric Flair, Andre the Giant, the Ultimate Warrior and Bruno Sammartino and the “American Dream” Dusty Rhodes all cast in bronze. You can now add “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to that list.
Piper’s incredible statue was revealed on Thursday night as a part of the festivities at WrestleMania Axxess, during a ceremony attended by Hot Rod’s family and several other wrestling legends including Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat, Sting, Jimmy Hart and Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.
