WWE recently posted a video featuring the favorites to win the 2019 Royal Rumble on January 27. Cathy Kelley hosted the vid and mentioned a number of Superstars that could be the last man standing in the ring. That man will go on to main event for either the WWE or Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35.
John Cena, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose are guys that have already been to the mountaintop as champ. Rising stars like Andrade Cien Almas are only just getting started. But his supporters would love nothing more than to see him win the Rumble.
Bobby Lashley is another name that could potentially win it all. The same is true of Finn Bálor, who lasted nearly an hour in the 2017 Royal Rumble.
But then R-Truth and Carmella crashed the party when they interrupted Kelley. The pair are currently “on vacation” at WWE’s Corporate offices in Stamford, Connecticut. Truth and Carmella earned a vacation at a destination of their choosing after winning the Mixed Match Challenge. R-Truth decided that Connecticut was the way to go.
Truth and Carmella also won the number 30 spot for their respective Royal Rumble Matches.
