The trailer features appearances by several WWE/NXT wrestlers and personalities, including Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Sheamus, Otis, Keith Lee, Mia Yim, Renee Young, Corey Graves, and Babatunde. It was directed by Jay Karas and also stars Seth Carr, Tichina Arnold, Adam Pally, and Ken Marino.
The runtime for The Main Event is listed as 1 hour and 42 minutes.
WWE Studios and Netflix have also partnered together for The Big Show Show, with that series premiering on Netflix on Monday, April 6. The trailer for it was released earlier this week.
The Big Show Show is a sitcom that will feature eight half-hour episodes. The description for the series is: “When the teenage daughter of Big Show, a retired world-famous WWE Superstar, comes to live with him, his wife, and two other daughters, he quickly becomes outnumbered and outsmarted. Despite being 7 feet tall and weighing 400 pounds, he is no longer the center of attention.”
