Dean Ambrose gave an introspective, fired-up babyface interview after winning the WWE World Title at the Money in the Bank PPV Sunday night.

Ambrose reflected on what it means to be WWE champion in the post-match interview backstage with Tom Phillips, released on WWE’s website.

“It’s not just (about) me. It’s all the people who supported me along the way – people who stuck with me and helped me stay alive. This is theirs. This belongs to them. They know who they are. I say thank you to them,” Ambrose said.

“Everybody else. Everybody who wanted to write me off? They can all kiss the champ’s ass, you know what I’m saying?” Ambrose said with a smile.

Ambrose soaked in the moment and played up his character’s zaniness feeling on top of the world now that he has WWE’s top title.
