United Rugby Championship: Match officials and TV coverage confirmed

The match officials for this weekend’s United Rugby Championship (URC) quarter-finals have been announced, with Andrew Brace handed the opener.

Brace is in the middle for Ulster v Connacht at Kingspan Stadium, with Frank Murphy and Eoghan Cross his assistants, while the TMO is Brian MacNeice.

The remaining three quarter-finals of the URC take place on Saturday as Stormers host Bulls, Leinster face the Sharks, and then Glasgow tackle Munster.

Jaco Peyper will referee that all-South African affair in Cape Town, with AJ Jacobs and Marius van der Westhuizen assisting and Marius Jonker the TMO.

Craig Evans gets Leinster v Sharks

The focus will then shift north to Dublin, where Welsh official Craig Evans has the whistle for the Leinster against Sharks showdown at the Aviva Stadium.

The assistant referees for that meeting on Irish soil will be Sam Grove-White and Hollie Davidson, while Ben Whitehouse is the television match official.

Saturday’s final fixture takes place at Scotstoun, where Glasgow Warriors will look to build on their Challenge Cup semi-final win when they face Munster.

Italian official Andrea Piardi will be the referee for that match, while Adam Jones and Manuel Bottino are the assistants, and Matteo Liperini is the TMO.
