It isn’t every day that you see an accessory as adorable as this Patricia Chang Hamster Card Case. For me, I think part of the appeal is how it reminds me of Hamtaro! Seeing this cute little hamster card case makes the theme song play in my head over and over again.
Personally, I am not all that big on card cases. However, this piece is just so beyond adorable, I couldn’t resist taking a closer look. The details are very unexpected. Pebbled leather serves as a base, creating the body, ears and patch over the eye. That part is pretty normal, of course. But take an even closer look. The eyes are faceted “stones” and the little feet are strings of tiny seed beads. It is details like these that make me think this piece is extra special. With only 3 card slots and a center pocket, it probably isn’t the most practical accessory in the world. As cute as it is though, I feel like I would be able to over look that. I mean, it IS a hamster after all.
