– Early estimates for this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view are that the show did 535,000 buys with 330,000 being domestic buys. SummerSlam did 541,000 buys the year before but was backed by far more star power as that show featured both Ric Flair vs. Mick Foley and Hulk Hogan vs. Randy Orton.
– In what some of you may find interesting, Batista revealed in his autobiography (which was released in book stores nationwide today) that he has a very close relationship with WWE diva Melina. In the book, Batista writes that his wife had suspicions that he was sleeping with Melina while they were still married, an accusation that Batista said wasn’t true. However, Batista indicated that since his divorce, his relationship with Melina has become physical which has sparked some controversy.
