Stuart Vevers for Coach Fall 2014

Recently appointed Creative Director of Coach, Stuart Vevers, introduced his very first collection for the American Fashion brand. Isn’t it so exciting?! The collection is described as “effortless, understated and personal, with a lightness in spirit born of American Sportswear. It embodies an aspiration heritage with a downtown attitude. Elevating the elemental and familiar, it explores the tension between utility and luxury.”

Here are a couple bag highlights from the collection:

Coach Dakotah Fringe Crossbody
Fringe is one of those trends that we seem to not be able to escape. In my eyes it’s either a hit or a miss, and to me this Dakotah is on point. I love the fringe x stud combination- it gives it that extra luxe edge.

The luxury of traditional craftsmanship meets the rugged utility of pebbled leather on a dramatically fringed crossbody finished with iconic Coach turnlocks. The curb-chain details alone require more than three hours of hand-lacing. $795

Coach Rhyder Messenger
As fellow BagBliss’er BrS just pointed out, Shearling is the hottest Fall trend! I’m sure if she saw this bag it would have made it to her list. What I love about the Rhyder is the stark contrast between black leather and fuzzy soft off-white shearling. It’s a beautiful match, completely winter-worthy.

The Rhyder pairs the functionality of workwear with luxe craftsmanship in a soft satchel silhouette with a downtown attitude. Finished by hand in plush shearling with rivets, heritage turnlocks and archive-inspired leather bindings, Rhyder is at once authentically American and quintessentially Coach. $1300

All these items are available at Coach. Also available at Net-a-Porter, who recently started selling Coach handbags!
