The groundhog said there will be 6 more weeks of winter. Considering how unseasonably warm it has been this winter, I suppose I can live with that. With the weather being so Spring-like, I already have summer on the brain. It seems like others do too, considering all the beach totes I’ve seen popping up recently. I’m thinking this year, I might go for a little less traditional beach tote. Instead of structured and straw, I was thinking unstructured and crochet! Check out the Stela 9 Zigzag Crochet Beach Bag!
What I like most about this bag is the bold black and white zigzag pattern. It grabs your attention without the use of bright colors. Color can be fun, but I love the look of black and white for beachwear. I also love the shape of this bag. The picture makes this bag look so stiff, when it really isn’t in real life. This crocheted piece is soft and unstructured. It is very much like a classic bucket bag. I think that is what attracts me to this bag. I love the idea of a non-traditional beach tote. It is smaller than a regular beach tote, but it is certainly large enough to carry your essentials (e.g. sunglasses, sunblock, and reading material). Plus it would just look so darn cute paired with a solid colored swimsuit!
