Standout Clutches by Kotur, Anya Hindmarch, Louboutin & Olympia Le-Tan

There is no doubting it is summer! With all this warm and sunny weather, it is hard not to notice. It is also hard not to think about summertime handbags. You know, bright colors… straw… canvas. That sort of thing. Just because the weather is warm doesn’t mean nightlife is dead. Sure the feeling seems more casual, but you can never go wrong with a great standout clutch. They are season-less and perfect for any occasion that demands a chic look. That is why I decided to track down some of my favorite standout clutch looks. So check them out! There is something here for everyone!

Look #1 – Brights

Kotur Espey Watersnake Clutch. $595
A pop of color is sure to get you noticed, even when the lights are turned down low! What I like about this particular clutch is the bright blue hue (super hot right now) combined with watersnake skin. Very pretty! I also love the jewel clasp on top, which adds an extra touch of sophistication to the look.

Look #2 – Glitter or Metallic

Anya Hindmarch Valorie Glitter Clutch. $550
Glitter or metallic, you really can’t go wrong. These eye-catching styles are season-less too! I love this clutch because the glitter is applied to leather, rather than fabric. It gives this piece a more luxe feel. I also love the envelope styling, which is easy to use.

Look #3 – Textured Black

Christian Louboutin Marquise Spiked Clutch. $1295
Whether it is texture through embossing, quilting, pleating, or (in this case) hardware… you can never go wrong when it is paired with black! What I like about this particular clutch is how it is a seemingly ordinary black leather clutch. Then you see the spike studs on the sides and you think “wow”.
Find it at Net-A-Porter!

Look #4 – Conversation Piece

Olympia Le-Tan Grimms Märchen Clutch. $2010
Nothing beats a great conversation piece! What better way to spark up a conversation than with a clutch that looks like a book? This lovely, hand-embroidered piece is sure to be the life of the party. I love the cigar box styling too!
