Southwestern Bohemian: Jerome Dreyfuss Gary Noir Katchina Bag

When I first laid eyes on the Jerome Dreyfuss Gary Noir Katchina Bag, I had to pause for a moment. There is a pattern on the front that jumped out at me, but then I seconded guessed what I was seeing. I see an owl design. Is that what you see? But is an owl what I am supposed to be seeing? Or is this a case of pareidolia? That’s allowing me (us?) to see an owl staring back at me in this design. I think I will just assume it is supposed to be an owl for now. You know, as I’ve mentioned a dozen times before, I like owls!

As you probably already know, all Jerome Dreyfuss handbags are given male names. And the Gary Handbag just seems so fitting for an owl for some reason! I like the suede, beading, and sideways fringe. However, the pastel colors are not really doing it for me. The overall look is a little bit too southwestern bohemian for me. What do you guys think? What would you wear with the Jerome Dreyfuss Gary Bag?

There are many different styles of the Jerome Dreyfuss Gary Tote. To give you an idea of the different styles:
