How was everyone’s summer? Did you go on vacation? I did! I spent about a week hiking around in the Rocky Mountains. Nothing but beautiful scenery everywhere! But the mountains weren’t the only thing to look at while I was there. I’m talking about all that shopping! Gift shops and little boutiques lined the streets everywhere I went. My favorite thing to look at? Believe it or not, I loved all of the woven Southwestern artwork! So you can imagine how delighted I was to see this beautiful little clutch after I returned home! No, the colors aren’t very Southwestern-y. But the heavy weave and zigzag pattern does give this clutch just a hint of Southwestern charm. It is definitely a different piece. I like it though! The reds and pinks are so unexpected, yet so cheery at the same time. This clutch would look great paired with a cotton sundress, just in time to squeeze in that last little bit of summer fun. That doesn’t mean, however, that this piece needs to go into hiding once October rolls around. Those cheery colors would look great paired with darker, more fall-like hues within the same color families. I’m thinking an orange or burgundy chunky knit sweater dress!
