Same Bag New Style! Roger Vivier Miss Viv Carre Bag in Paint Splatter

I know I have said this before, but I just cannot seem to wrap my head around the thought of Roger Vivier as a handbag designer. Roger Vivier was known for designing shoes. Beautiful, extravagant shoes that he called sculptures or works of art. They are commonly seen on the feet of many famous people.

However I feel like things have changed in recent years, particularly when the company changed hands after the designer, Roger Vivier’s death. Now there are more and more handbags being generated by this designer, many featuring the same signature pilgrim buckle seen on Roger Vivier shoes. Not many have really jumped out at me, but another one did today! Take a moment and discover the Roger Vivier Miss Viv Carre Splatter Print Bag!

When I first saw this Roger Vivier Miss Viv Carre Bag, I could not get over the illusion that is created by the splatter print. The print so seamlessly flows over different parts of this bag that it literally looks like paint was splattered on it. Even the buckle is included! The splatter print really does seem to jump out at you. With its structured shape and neutral colors (available in blush pink and black), I can see this somewhat unusual piece fitting in with a lot of things.

It has almost a funky feel about it, yet it isn’t too wild to accompany a little black dress to a social event.

The Roger Vivier Paint Spatter Print Miss Viv Carre Handbag is available here at NEIMAN MARCUS.
