Renato Sanches will join PSG this week for a fee of just €10m

As reported by RMC, PSG’s talks with Lille for Renato Sanches are progressing well, so much so that the player’s arrival in Paris is expected in the coming days.

The outlet report that Sanches is indeed keen to join PSG with talks moving along nicely despite competition from a second club, AC Milan, who have long pursued the player this year. Sky reported last week that an agreement had been concluded between Milan and Lille but the Italian champions are struggling to agree on personal terms with the Portuguese international. PSG have reportedly offered the 24-year-old € 6m a year, trumping Milan’s offer of €4.5m.

The fee, however, is expected to be as little as €10m, that’s half what Lille paid for the player when signing him from Bayern Munich back in 2019. Although, Sanches has just one year to run on his Lille contract.

Sanches has tallied 32 Portugal caps, scoring three goals, and helped LOSC to the 2021 Ligue 1 title despite fluctuating form over the last two seasons which have been affected by injuries.
