Straw totes are probably one of the most popular accessory items during the summer months. I can certainly see why. They are lightweight, casual, and they just feel “summery”. Whether you use one for the beach or for shopping at the local farmers’ market, a straw tote is something you simply shouldn’t do without. With so many styles to choose from though, this may seem like a daunting task. But I stumbled across a gorgeous straw tote today and I think the search (at least for me) is over. I think what initially caught my eye was the unusual color combination of this tote. The background is a traditional straw weave in deep navy blue. The overlay, however, consists of an open diamond weave in yellow and sage green leather. These colors are not something I would normally picture together, but after seeing it, I am in head over heels in love! The yellow and sage green pop against the navy blue, giving this piece both texture and depth. I also love the cross charm, complete with a tassel tail. The handles are thin and flexible, making this the ideal piece for toting around all of your summer-time needs. This tote would pair beautifully with everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a floaty skirt and straw hat.
