Kate Spade is at it again! The designer has released some new pieces featuring animal motifs. This time around, Kate Spade seemed to be focusing on cats… and mice! As much as I love kitty cats (and mice) and animal motifs in general, I can’t help but feel that the cute faces are a little too much. What I mean is, I would rather not have a satchel with a giant cat face on it. But there is one piece from this latest collection that has captured my imagination. Introducing the Kate Spade New York Embellished Cat Bag!
Rather than an everyday bag, this piece is an evening bag. And what is more seductive than a pair of cat ears? I love the simple, crystal embellished cat ears perched on top of this bag. I like the way the crystals are arranged as well. They give the subtle impression of the inner portion of an ear. The ears really are all this bag needs. But I suppose the spade shaped logo placed about where the nose would be doesn’t hurt either! This otherwise plain evening bag features a black velvet body and snake chain strap, giving everything a well-rounded look. I think this bag would pair very nicely with an equally seductive little black dress, much like the one seen in the modeling picture.
