PSG on Monday put out a press release announcing that initial tests done on Neymar’s left ankle have been “encouraging.”
The Brazilian was stretchered off at the end of the club’s 1-0 home loss to Lyon on Sunday night following a challenge from compatriot and defensive midfielder Thiago Mendes.
“The clinical and radiological assessment of Neymar Jr, following the sprain of the left ankle that occurred last night, is encouraging. A new assessment and new examinations will be carried out in 48 hours.”
