Prada opens in Charles de Gaulle

Architect Roberto Baciocchi is the design master behind Prada’s new Parisian store. The new shop opens in the international terminal 2E of the Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris. This inauguration follows recent store openings in Heathrow Airport in London and in Fiumicino Airport in Rome. The store covers an area of 100 square meters and is enclosed on three sides by a glass wall and door. An original panel composed of steel rods creates a striking backdrop. The traditional elements of all Prada shops, such as the pale green fabric wall treatments and beige carpet, stand out in this unique setting. The irregular hexagonal shape of the store layout makes it possible to separate the sales areas, which are further defined by the choice of materials and colours. The store sells mens and womens leather goods, accessories, and eyewear. With this new opening, there are now ten Prada boutiques in Paris.
