I was browsing the virtual shelves at Net-A-Porter the other day when I came across a VERY brightly colored handbag. It was so bright, that I shied away from it a little bit and even skipping over it to look at some other, less bright pieces. For some reason though, my eyes kept making their way back to the handbag. I couldn’t get the colorful combination out of my mind, and I could not stay away. Finally I swooped back around and clicked on the image for a closer look. I am so glad that I did! Take a moment and discover the Paula Cademartori Petite Faye in Elaphe and Leather!
According to Net-A-Porter, Brazil-born designer Paula Cademartori honed her skills at Versace before launching her very own eponymous bag label in 2010. She is most commonly known for her use of boxy shapes and bright colors. I would have to say that bright colors is definitely an understatement.
The more I look at this Paula Cademartori Faye Bag, the more I find myself liking it. After all, turquoise is one of my favorite colors. I think that pairing it with orange and yellow though is an interesting choice though. Another feature I like is that this bag is full of contrasting textures too! The yellow is elaphe (snakeskin) and the rest is lambskin. And the “jewels”? They are actually smooth Plexiglass.
