Olympia Le-Tan Spring 2015 Runway Pencil Clutch

Olympia Le-Tan is famous for her embroidered book clutches. The details seen on these clutches are absolutely breathtaking. There is no doubt I have admired them many times over the years in my blog posts! However, for her Spring 2015 collection, Olympia Le-Tan made what seems like a natural transition from classic books to school girl-chic. The models wore knee socks, baseball hats, and school uniform-inspired skirts. What really caught my eye though was the words “We don’t need no education” written on a chalkboard at the back of the runway. I had to smile a little bit because my husband likes Pink Floyd and the song would set the tone for a not-so-innocent school girl look.

For handbags, the Spring 2015 runway was littered with her latest renditions of book clutches. But there were also some other designs sprinkled in there. One that stood out from the rest is an adorable clutch that resembled an oversized pencil. The hexagonal cylinder features a point with “lead” at one end. The opposite end, however, does not appear to have an “eraser”. I suppose that means there will be no mistakes! If you’re looking for an excellent conversation piece though, there are definitely no mistakes to be found here.
