Official | Marseille sign Sayha Seha from Troyes

Marseille have this afternoon announced the signing of young attacking midfield prospect Sayha Seha, with the 17-year-old joining from Troyes.

The U17 youth international, who is also eligible to represent Madagascar, notably played in the Coupe Gambardella (French youth cup) last year, scoring two goals and registering three assists as his team reached the semi-finals of the competition.

L’Équipe report that the midfielder was also being targeted by Manchester United and Bayern Munich, but has instead remained in France for now.

Seha is the latest in a string of young signings made by OM amid a busy transfer window. The 19-year-old defender Isaak Touré from Le Havre as well as Manchester City’s Issa Kaboré – who was on loan at Troyes last season – are also among the dozen signings that the club has made this window, amid a squad overhaul ahead of this season’s Champions League group stage campaign under new manager Igor Tudor.
