Clermont Foot have completed the season loan signing of young Turkish winger Yusuf Sari from Marseille this evening.
The 19-year-old has only made one senior domestic appearance for Marseille and did not feature in Rudi Garcia’s plans for the 2018/19 Ligue 1 campaign.
Sari’s current contract at the Marseille runs until June 2021, but will play at the Stade Gabriel Montpied this season in the hope of earning valuable first team playing experience.
The French-born youngster had also been linked with a loan move to fellow Ligue 2 side AC Ajaccio but it was Pascal Gastien’s side who have won the race for the 19-year-old’s signature.
Sari has also collected two caps for Turkey at U-21 level.
