The Australian stars both received quite a “shock” when Urban took home the award for Entertainer of the Year, which he first won 13 years ago. Urban beat out country favorites Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Chris Stapleton, and Kenny Chesney for the award.
Both parties teared upon hearing the singer’s name called.
“Baby girl, I love you so much. I’m beyond shocked,” Urban said when he reached the podium. “The girls at home, Faith and Munchkin, I love you,” he said to his and Nicole’s daughters Faith, 7, and Sunday, 10. “Thank you for supporting Daddy and loving me through all of what I do, same with you, baby girl, for making it worthwhile.”
