New at Net-A-Porter: Coach

Creative Director Stuart Vevers took inspiration from Coach’s authentic “American-ness” when designing the brand’s first ever ready-to-wear collection. The collection features utility-inspired pieces. “There’s an air of heritage about it but it’s very modern at the same time,” says Vevers about the new collection. And it seems as though Net-A-Porter agrees! They have added Coach to their designer lineup starting with this collection. What caught my eye, however, was the collection of handbags to go along with it!

The Rhyder collection features styles that are both luxurious and functional. I love the use of shearling, nubuck, and leather throughout. These contrasting textures create their own festival of the senses. And yes, they do have a heritage feel to them!

SHOP: NET-A-PORTER X COACH!

My favorite piece so far is the Coach Rhyder Shearling and Leather Messenger Bag. I love the tone-on-tone texture, which looks very sleek in allover black. The bag can be carried as a satchel or, with the help of an optional shoulder strap, as a messenger bag. I love the casual, boxy shape and flap closure as well. For me, it makes the bag look nice, but not too polished.

Also available is the Workwear Rhyder 33 Leather and Nubuck Tote. I love the rich caramel nubuck against the black pebbled leather. It is such a gorgeous color combination. The feather charms are a unique touch too.
