England will draw with the USA in their opening match of the World Cup but will win the group on goal difference.
The ‘easy’ group everyone (in England anyway) thought England had will be anything but easy, with Algeria giving England a particularly tough game.

One of the Netherlands’ major stars will be sent home/walk out of the squad after clashing with the Manager or a team-mate.

France will knock out England at the Quarter Final stage. On penalties or by a Thierry Henry goal, sending the press into a frenzy about how France shouldn’t have been there in the first place and Henry should have been banned for his handball.

Bolton will appoint Darren Ferguson as manager. He will try to implement an expansive passing game. This will fail miserably and he’ll switch to the traditional Bolton tactic of smacking balls toward Kevin Davies.
