About three years ago I fell in love with a Michael Kors handbag and I’ve been using it ever since. It’ not in the best shape now but it’s still gorgeous. It was the Michael Kors Uptown Astor Patent Satchel. It was released in black leather with gold hardware and my gosh it was beautiful. I remember they came out with a small satchel and the shoulder bag. I was literally in the Michael Kors store for a good two hours because I couldn’t decide which one I wanted more. Ultimately, I went for the shoulder bag but it took a very long time for me to come to that decision!
The Michael Kors Uptown Astor Patent Satchel reminds me exactly of the satchel I passed on three years ago. I’m not sure how I feel about having a patent leather handbag again but I saw this satchel in person and I can promise you it’s amazing! I even got the chance to carry it around and I love that it was so light. It’s definitely flashy but would make a great bag to carry around in the Fall especially due to the weather change. I’m not fond of patent leather handbags but it does rain in Florida a lot! The best part about patent leather bags is that they are incredibly easy to clean. Rain will slide right off of it and a stain can be easily wiped off! They are convenient but the patent leather can lose its luster after a while.
I’ve used my “Astor” bag a numerous amount of times in the past three years so it was definitely worth the price for me! You won’t regret adding a lovely piece from the “Astor” collection to your handbag collection. You can trust me on that!
