As I’ve written over and over again in my blogs black leather with gold hardware is my favorite color combination when it comes to handbags. Together they always make a handbag look more flashy, stylish and edgy. The colors are so striking together that they make anything look eye catching just like the Michael Kors “Gia” Quilted Crossbody Bag. This bag is incredibly sophisticated looking and is absolutely perfect for the upcoming Fall season. I can totally envision myself walking down a street in Manhattan with my black jeans, black boots, a long sleeve shirt and having this beauty wrapped around me. I love the chain and leather strap, the little gold key and the fact that you can even lock the bag. I have a Louis Vuitton bag that actually has a lock and key. Even though I hardly ever lock it up it does come in handy if you ever have to leave your bag in another room.
What I love about this bag is that I would literally use it all day long without having a “handbag change”. Sometimes I use certain bags for the daytime and other bags for the evening but this bag can be used all day. It’s definitely not casual but it’s most certainly not a fancy bag. It has the perfect look to give a daytime outfit the finishing touch or it can make an evening outfit look a little more fabulous.
Overall, even though it’s little, this is one of the most gorgeous crossbody bags out there right now and I wouldn’t mind adding it to my collection. Michael Kors always scores an “A” when it comes to black leather bags with gold hardware but he got an “A+” on this one!
