I’m obsessed with clothes at the moment and looking stylish at all times. I bought a skirt by Guess? and I ventured to the Aventura mall in South Florida today to try to find a shirt to match it. No luck of course but I did see a very gorgeous purse at Macy’s. it was the Michael Kors “Astrid” Satchel and it was drop dead gorgeous. I kid you not, I pranced around the purse department with it for about 20 minutes. If the sales associate would have spent more time with me, it would have most likely been in my hands right now. She decided to leave me and help two men instead and here and I decided to save the abuse on my credit card. Like they say, everything happens for a reason. Right? Right.
Anyway, so “Astrid” was in my hands for quite sometime. I even decided to empty my purse and see how much I could fit in it. My makeup case and wallet fit it in just fine, however my sunglasses case could not. You can’t fit much in it but I have to say this purse is worth the price! It’s stunning in person and has an old school vibe to it. When I had it in my hands I remember asking my Mom if she could envision Audrey Hepburn using a bag like this. Audrey is my idol but my Mom also agreed that is was classic, old school and stunning.
I’ve decided I need this bag. Keyword, need not want. It’s beautiful in person and the simplicity of it is breathtaking. I also love that the bag speaks for itself. You have no idea that it’s by Michael Kors unless you look at it close up. The beauty of the bag is eye catching and Mr. Kors scored himself an A+ with the “Astrid” satchel.
Trust me, take the time and go into Macy’s and check out this bag. I promise you’ll be coming home with it! I’m in love!
