I went to San Francisco for the weekend, and as I usually do when I visit The Golden State, I stop by the Marc Jacobs store over in Pacific Heights on Fillmore Street. But to my surprise when I went in to the boutique on Sunday, there was a very small selection of Special Items. Not nearly as many items as have been in the past. Is this a new trend? Small prices of the Marc Jacobs Special Items not worth the prime boutique real estate? In that sense I guess it would be better to be sold online.
In the past whenever I visit New York, California or Massachusetts I always stop by the Marc Jacobs boutiques to see what they have. I always feel like a kid in the candy store, grabbing cute little Marc Jacobs mementos to bring back for friends- trendy keychains, lipstick shaped pens, compact mirrors, Blondie inspired satchels, beach totes, et cetera. So of course I was a little disappointed to see that Marc Jacobs in Pacific Heights on Fillmore Street in Francisco no longer carries a selection of Special Items, there was only a couple Marc Jacobs Seasonal Items but nothing memorable that I couldn’t just buy online.
On another note, Marc Jacobs when are you coming to Seattle or Bellevue?
