Call me dumb but I’m not quite understanding the name for the Marc by Marc Jacobs “Snakes on a Frame” Cross Body Bag. Someone please explain to me, am I missing something? Where am I missing the snakes? I’m not quite getting how the name relates to the bag but I have to admit this handbag is pretty unique looking!
This cross body bag instantly caught my eye. I’ve never seen anything like this before so I applaud Marc Jacobs for taking a risk and going way out of his elegant and classy comfort zone. When I first saw the bag, it instantly reminded me of Carrera sunglasses with a shoulder strap attached to them. I absolutely love Carrera sunglasses so even though this bag may seem a little weird, it’s kind of brilliant if you ask me. I mean, one thing is for sure, all eyes will be on you when you’re walking around with a bag like this.
I would consider this a statement piece. This is not the type of bag you would see someone carrying everyday. If you saw someone with this bag, chances are your eyes would be fixated on it. It’s not even very practical, as it looks very tiny and I’m not sure how much you can actually fit it in but for shock value it gets an A+! Great job Marc!
