Confession time! Whether you would like to admit it or not, you have probably done the bunny hop at some point in your life. Perhaps it was in elementary school. Or perhaps it was at a school dance or even someone’s wedding reception. The bunny hop is, after all, considered a party dance! It is a variation of a conga line, only much sillier. And, in my opinion, much less embarrassing than the chicken dance. When most people think of the bunny hop though, they don’t usually think of handbags. Well, wild and crazy Marc has struck again. The Fall 2014 collection is all about bold and bright pop culture. Interestingly, this particular bag is actually inspired by the BMX bike culture. So when I see the words “bunny hop” printed across the front of this bag, I think of the dance. But bunny hop here is actually referring to the BMX bike trick where the rider makes the bike hop. I suppose that would explain the strange tiger (?) legs featured in the brightly colored print as well. I do like the creative use of thermoplastic polyurethane for the body and nylon webbing for the strap. Plus the hot pink zipper is really cool! What a fun and youthful little bag!
