Speaking to Amazon Prime after the 5-1 win over Lille tonight, Kylian Mbappé discussed what he saw as a much improved Paris Saint-Germain performance.
The French forward scored Les Parisiens’ fifth on a night which also saw Lionel Messi get his second of the season as well as a Danilo Pereira double.
“It’s an important result, especially considering we lost 5-1 two or three years ago, so it was a bit of a nod to that.”
“We keep trying to ramp things up. Today it was a lot more complete, there was more movement, and more character as well. We also had luck on our side in the beginning which allowed us to start the match well. But it’s encouraging, we are satisfied.”
