It looks like ReDRagon is getting closer to being reunited. During the recent set of NXT tapings, another former Ring of Honor wrestler made his debut in Full Sail University, During the previous set of NXT tapings, Bobby Fish made a surprise appearance before the crowd as he faced off against Aleister Black, ultimately taking a loss in the end. WWE has acquired a ton of talent from the ROH wrestling promotion, and now you can add yet another name to that still-growing list. Former ROH Champion Kyle O’Reilly made his NXT debut recently as he faced off against Aleister Black, and that will be aired on a future edition of NXT.
Much like his old tag team partner Bobby Fish from the last set of tapings, O’Reilly appeared unnaounced and faced Aleister Black. The two men had a hard-hitting match that was very competitive, and Black defeated O’Reilly after a long back-and-fourth bout. No word has been released thus far regarding the current status of Fish or O’Reilly thus far, but at this moment, neither one of them have been formally signed by WWE. Kyle O’Reilly’s NXT debut has been rumored pretty much ever since he decided to leave a Ring of Honor earlier this year. O’Reilly and Fish are both good enough talents on their own, but the two of them work just as effectively as a team.
O’Reilly has been wrestling for twelve years now, and he has competed in nearly every major promotion outside of WWE during his career. As a part of ReDRagon, he and Fish have won the ROH Tag Team Championships on three different occasions. O’Reilly by himself has seen great success thus far, most notably when he captured the Ring of Honor World Championship back in December of last year. We will all have to wait and see what the future will hold for O’Reilly and Fish, but the two of them could become regulars in NXT very soon. In the meantime, be on the lookout for a very impressive match between Kyle and Aleister Black on the August 2nd edition of NXT.
