As much as the WWE would like to develop its next generation of stars, there’s no denying the drawing power of the iconic John Cena.
Cena took to social media Sunday to let fans who have missed him in his absence from WWE TV since WrestleMania 33 that he will be back soon.

New WWE Champion Jinder Mahal said this week he would like to use a program with John Cena as a way to legitimize himself in the eyes of fans who don’t think he should have been given a title run. Given that Cena’s last storyline involved The Miz and Maryse, who are now on Raw, it might be an interesting way to reintroduce Cena back into the SmackDown Live lineup.
