As noted, WWE Raw star Jason Jordan underwent surgery last week to repair an injured disc, and WWE announced on Raw last night that the surgery will force Jordan to miss WrestleMania.
We noted that despite WWE’s announcement, in the past it has been reported by the company that an injured star will miss big events, only for that to end up being story line oriented and the star makes a surprise return earlier. So as of now the official word is that Jordan is off WrestleMania, however that could end up being untrue.
Jordan commented on his injury and surgery with the following:
This isn’t what I envisioned my Road to #WrestleMania would look like…but this won’t stop me. I’m coming back better than ever. #GoldBlooded #TheReturn https://t.co/P5mQX8yEdD

On a related note, we reported last week that original WrestleMania 34 plans called for Seth Rollins to face Jason Jordan in a singles match at WrestleMania, but that could be nixed if Jordan is indeed off the WrestleMania card.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Jordan was still looking to compete against Rollins at WrestleMania as of late last week, so if Jordan can be cleared in time to compete at ‘Mania that match might still be in the works. If the match does not take place, it’s unclear as to where that might leave Rollins at the big PPV in New Orleans.
