Indian Army’s Tactics Along Border Working, Terrorist Infiltration Down 43% This Year

Despite the news of combat operations between the security forces and the terrorist coming every now and then, the Centre says there has been a 43 percent decrease in net infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir in first half of 2019 in comparison to 2018 in the corresponding period last year.

The Centre, however, didn’t give the exact number of infiltrations attempted by the terrorists this year.

In the answer to the question asked by BJP MP from Jharkhand, Dr Nishikant Dubey, the Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, G. Kishan Reddy replied in Lok Sabha: “Net infiltration in the Jammu & Kashmir has reduced by 43% in first half of the year over the corresponding period of 2018.”
