Horsewomen Match Update, Cena Responds to Ford Lawsuit, Charlotte

There has been a ton of buzz around Ronda Rousey possibly working a match for WWE at some point in 2018. Whether she is attending the Mae Young Classic or posting videos of herself training at the WWE Performance Center, there definitely seems to be some truth to the rumors that WWE is planning a match at Wrestlemania involving Rousey and her Horsewomen of MMA vs. the Four Horsewomen of WWE. While the match could still be taking place, Cageside Seats says that angles involving the women of MMA are not expected to take place until a few months into 2018. The report mentions that the match is still on for Wrestlemania this April.
John Cena has been in the news this week, but not for any of his film, wrestling, or charity work. As mentioned earlier in the week, the Ford Motor Company is suing John Cena, alleging that the WWE Superstar’s choice to sell a $500,000 2017 Ford GT was a direct violation of a contract that Cena had with the company. The Washington Post notes that Cena promised to “make it right” after Ford learned that he sold the car, but he still has not done so. John Cena responded to the news of the lawsuit recently with an amusing photo on his Instagram account showing a 1980s Ford Mustang GT. Check out the image down below:

It has been a tough year for the Flair family, especially when Ric Flair was struck with a life-threatening illness that kept him in the hospital for weeks. Their fortunes have turned around recently with the success of Ric Flair’s 30 for 30 special on ESPN, as well as with Flair’s daughter Charlotte winning the Smackdown Women’s Championship a few weeks ago. It looks like Charlotte Flair will now have the chance to show of her acting talent in the upcoming film ‘Psych: The Movie’, based on the USA Network series Psych. Flair will be portraying the role of a villain named Heather Rockrear in the movie. The film will be premiering on December 7th on the USA Network.
