I don’t think I have really thought about denim handbags since that whole Louis Vuitton Monogram Denim Collection frenzy… how many years ago was that? It is hard to believe, but it has almost been a decade. I remember the collection being very popular at the time and it remained popular for a couple years after its original debut. But like all trends, the Louis Vuitton Monogram Denim Collection quietly rode off into the sunset. Sure avid Louis Vuitton collectors still seek out these pieces. However, nothing in the way of denim handbags has enjoyed such coveted status since. Well, that is, until now! It seems that several designers have recently decided to experiment with denim. Will these styles reach stardom? Time will tell. In the meantime, check them out.
Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody Bag – $275
Rebecca Minkoff isn’t afraid of experimenting with different materials. So it comes as no surprise that a few styles have popped up dressed in denim. I love this particular style because it combines the classic look of quilting with the casual feel of denim.
Tory Burch Fleming Quilted Bag – $435
You know how dark, tailored denim can look dressy? Well Tory Burch has created the same effect in a handbag. I love the unique quilting pattern too!
Meli Melo Thela Bag – $575
Sometimes simple is better when it comes to denim. This lovely bag features a simple silhouette and minimal details. I love the unusual handle configuration.
Fendi 2Jours Shopping Tote – $2000
Just because it’s denim doesn’t mean it can’t have a splash of color. The bright yellow really pops against the dark denim.
