As previously noted, WWE has been all over the FOX Sports Founders Day festivities this weekend in L.A., including a musical performance from Elias that saw interrupts from both Drake Maverick and R-Truth, with the later winning back the WWE 24/7 Championship.
R-Truth then paid a visit to the FOX Sports studio to hang out with some of the network’s college football hosts and analysts. Apparently one of them managed to bring a referee into the studio, as host Rob Stone actually pinned the veteran WWE star to steal the title!
Unfortunately for Mr. Stone, his reign would only last a few seconds, as Elias was lurking in the shadows just waiting to attack – which he eventually did, winning back the championship. Check out the footage below.
