Foley + Corinna Trapeze Satchel

I must admit, I have not seen much of Foley + Corinna lately. Although I still love Foley + Corinna, I have found myself not giving this designer too much thought. I suppose you could call it one of those out of sight, out of mind situations. But when someone brought up Foley + Corinna on the Bag Forum, I thought maybe I should check out the latest happenings from them. What I found was actually quite pleasing. Introducing the Foley + Corinna Trapeze Satchel!

This slouchy little satchel is the epitome of Foley + Corinna style. Just look at the classic rolled handles attached to the bag in traditional Foley + Corinna fashion (threaded through tabs and knotted at the ends). It reminds me so much of the City totes, but the Trapeze Satchel does not fold over. Instead, it looks perfectly proportional when carried in hand, just as it was intended. You lose that convertible 2-in-1 look, but you gain a very smart looking piece! As always, I love the heavy pebbled leather. It feels very, for lack of a better word, substantial. I also love the addition of gussets on the sides, perfect for adding a little extra room when needed. Personally, I can’t wait to get my hands on this style. The only problem will be picking a color (pictured in black and iris here)!
