Whether I am looking for something to write about or doing a little shopping for myself, Shopbop has become my go-to website over the past year. Originally launched in 2000 as an online boutique specializing in hard-to-find denim lines, Shopbop has gone through some radical changes in a relatively short period of time. Today they are considered a leading fashion retailer with customers all around the globe! They have everything from clothing and shoes to handbags and accessories. Designers stocking their virtual shelves range from moderate to luxury. Plus they offer FREE 3 day shipping and FREE returns. Who doesn’t like free shipping? So with that being said, I would like to declare Shopbop as my pick for favorite boutique in 2013!
When it comes to handbag designers, they carry everything from Rebecca Minkoff and Marc by Marc Jacobs to Alexander Wang and 3.1 Phillip Lim! Plus they are always adding more designers, many of which being brand new to the handbag world. For example, Shopbop introduced Time’s Arrow this season. The company was launched earlier in 2013, but I had not heard of it until Shopbop brought it to my attention. Now it has become one of my latest obsessions! Believing handbags should be as exquisite in craftsmanship as they are in function, Time’s Arrow offers a fresh perspective in handbag design. The origami-like folds and roomy interiors make these handbags beautiful and practical at the same time. Right now, my favorite is the Aeon Satchel pictured above!
