Fall Neutral Gray Handbag Trend- Phillip Lim and Michael Kors

As much as I detest the cold and dreary winter months, I’m okay with the Fall season. I wouldn’t say that I enjoy it, but there are some fun fashion pieces that return each fall season. There are rain-boots and booties; cozy sweaters and plush vests; and of course scarves and gloves. The fall season is also filled with something else – deep hues and rich colors. Dark reds, burnt oranges, mustard yellows, and browns dominate the color landscape this time of year. While I do love these colors, sometimes I want something a little more neutral. One neutral shade that looks great no matter the season, is gray. Whether it’s a light gray or a rich charcoal, gray is an awesome color that will go with just about anything.

So now that I have gray handbags on my mind, I spent some time this morning browsing the various online boutiques and this is what I found. A couple favorites by Phillip Lim and Michael Kors.

3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Medium Leather Satchel in Charcoal – $975
A classic. The Pashli is one of my all-time favorite satchel styles. I love the flap closure and zippered gussets. It is absolutely gorgeous in this textured charcoal gray!

Michael Kors Collection Leather Tote in Slate$990 $693
There is something special about a classic and structured tote. Clean and simple lines will never go out of style. This is a bag you don’t have to worry about going out of fashion or looking dated. It’s a forever bag. I also love that this bag is a little taller than it is wide, which is perfect for just about every occasion- work, school tote, or casual Sunday.
