With All In still a few weeks away, the second pro wrestling show in the United States to sell over 10,000 tickets since the death of WCW is already official. Tickets for Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling’s G1 Supercard at Madison Square Garden went on sale last week, with the April 6, 2019 event selling out in just a few days. Approximately 9,000 of the 15,000 tickets were sold after the first day of the HonorClub pre-sale, they were up over 12,000 after a second day of pre-sales, and they sold out shortly after being made available to the general public last Friday.

Big Show told ESPN.com that he hopes to be cleared to return by WWE doctors on Sunday. He said he could be back as soon as Monday if WWE has something for him, but he noted that being healthy doesn’t mean that creative will have anything for him yet.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque was asked about Neville’s contract status and whether he could potentially be part of NXT’s UK brand on today’s pre-TakeOver: Brooklyn conference call. He said he wasn’t 100 percent sure on Neville’s status but called him one of the most talented guys in the world. Levesque said he loved the time Neville spent in NXT and that he thought Neville did an incredible job building up the cruiserweight division on 205 Live.
John Cena, Bobby Lashley & Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin, Elias & Jinder Mahal is being advertised for WWE’s house show in Shanghai, China on September 1.
Northeast Wrestling announced that Rey Mysterio is off their Wrestling Under The Stars show in Pittsfield, Massachusetts on August 24 due to “his upcoming contractual situation with WWE.”
Buddy Murphy & Tony Nese vs. The Lucha House Party in a tornado tag match and Noam Dar vs. TJP are set for next week’s 205 Live.
Oney Lorcan indicated that he’ll be back on the road with NXT at Thursday’s house show in Lowell, Massachusetts and Friday’s event in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Lorcan suffered a broken orbital bone when he and Danny Burch faced Kyle O’Reilly & Roderick Strong at TakeOver: Chicago in June.
Roman Reigns spoke to Yahoo Sports about the portion of fans who boo him, “I think they’re like closet lovers to be honest. You can say whatever you want, but it’s how you say it that matters. The way they deliver it, they’re more connected to me than their so called ‘favorites.’ For me to be able to pull on whatever string I pull on, it just goes to show there’s a deep rooting there.” Reigns added, “It doesn’t really matter to me, as long as they’re really loud, that’s all I really care about. There could be certain moments where they try to hijack shows and all of that, but by the end of the match, they’re standing up so I’ve been blessed. I really do think that if they love to hate you, they still love you.”
Renee Young appeared on Busted Open Radio yesterday and discussed doing commentary on this week’s Raw and for the Mae Young Classic. She mentioned wanting to do more commentary going forward.
PWInsider reported that WWE has hired Impact Wrestling producer James Long. They noted that he was hired for NXT and has been working out of Orlando for several weeks.
AJ Styles vs. Rick Michaels in a dark match from 2001 is being added to the WWE Network’s hidden gems section this week.
A Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart collection has been added to the Network.

Tenille Dashwood is off ROH’s Honor Re-United tour due to a “non-serious medical condition.” Chardonnay also won’t be able to wrestle due to injury. Kay Lee Ray will face Viper in Edinburgh tomorrow, Charli Evans in Doncaster on Saturday, and Ayesha Raymond in London on Sunday.
On Twitter, Chris Jericho teased that 2019 is going to be an interesting year for him: “2019 is gonna be an interesting year…. #FreeAgentJericho”
Kevin Smith revealed that Jericho has a part in a “low-budget” horror movie that he’s involved with.
Kevin Kelly and Andy Boy Simmonz will be calling Revolution Pro Wrestling’s TV tapings at York Hall in London on September 5 and 6.
Kelly noted that NJPW World is going to start adding English commentary for some classic matches from the past very soon.
Haku/Meng, who was originally advertised as facing Nick Gage, won’t be appearing at Joey Janela’s Lost in New York on Friday because he’ll be attending Jim Neidhart’s funeral.
PCO vs. Brody King is set for MLW’s War Games event in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on September 6. They’ll also be facing each other in a first round match during this year’s PWG Battle of Los Angeles on September 15.

Glover Teixeira thinks that he’ll need surgery for the shoulder injury that caused him to be pulled from the main event of UFC’s Fight Night show in Sao Paulo.
Derek Brunson said that he isn’t a believer in Israel Adesanya and called the fight a step down for him.
Benson Henderson vs. Saad Awad is set for Bellator 208 in Long Island, New York on October 13.
Roy Nelson vs. Sergei Kharitonov will be the semi-main event of Bellator 207 in Uncasville, Connecticut on October 12.
