Cael Carlson of Willmar has committed to wrestling for Minnesota in 2019-20.
Carlson is a three-time state finalist. He won the Class AAA 138-pound title in 2018 as a junior. He placed second at 126 pounds as a sophomore and second at 113 pounds as a freshman.
Carlson won a Junior Greco-Roman National Championship in Fargo this past summer.
Carlson is projected to wrestle at 149 or 157 pounds for the Gophers.
