Tweed and boucle handbags have been sprouting up everywhere and Coach is no exception. This isn’t the first time, however, Coach has played around with tweedy fabrics. I remember quite a few styles floating around a few years ago, although I’m not sure how well they went over. Personally, I like seeing unexpected fabrics on handbags. This is especially true with Fall-ready fabrics like tweed and boucle. That’s why I was pleased to see the Coach Chelsea Boucle Flap Bag!
I think what I like best about this bag is the colors it is available in. They are subdued and somewhat neutral, but not boring. And a sprinkle of sequins add just enough sparkle to draw the eyes in. This bag sort of reminds me of my favorite peacoat (minus the sequins, of course). Either color would look great with just about any Fall-like ensemble. The only thing you probably need to avoid is busy looking fabrics. I love the smaller size and flap closure, perfect for when you’re not wanting to carry a lot. Plus the chain strap can be worn doubled for a shorter length or single for a longer, crossbody appropriate length. Not only is this bag cute, it has a little bit of versatility to offer as well!
