Living in a subtropical area has its perks, such as, hot climate clothing and accessories can be extensively worn past the summer season. If you own more shorts and light tees in the closet versus coats and sweaters; then you probably possess more enlightening and colorful handbags as well.
The rustic and gypset styles of Cleobella present a tote that seems to have emerged straight from the sea, meet the Electra Coral Weave Summer Hobo.
The term ‘weave’ have a tendency to carry out a negative connotative as most tend to be over the top and heavily garnished. We prefer a sophisticated palette of color and popular textiles, but unfortunately, not all weaved handbags carry out subtlety designs. What should have been a unique and playful tropical tote closely resembles a cluster of dried out coral. There’s simply too much commotion going around and this laid-back tote definitely feels unfinished. Personally I’m a fan of fringe, but these knotted threads feel a bit too shaggy. Perhaps if this tote was crafted with more effort and cropped a bit closer, this hand-finished look would give a off that open-weave beach look that we love.
