Tod’s makes some pretty simple and classic styles that are meant to be adored for years. The handbags often make a subtle statement, not really a bag style that stands out from the crowd. However, recently I keep spotting styles from this designer that make me take notice. My most recent bag find is the unique handbag pictured here. It’s classic but with a twist. Tod’s handbags are far from being cookie-cutter styles. They are unique and different from any other handbag designers. They have that unique quality that is Tod’s, while still fitting in with other classic looking handbags out there. This particular style is a little bit unusual for this particular designer. You don’t see a fringed piece from this designer too often. And, when you do, the fringe sort of blends into the rest of the bag. That is not the case with the ‘Joy Two-Tone Fringed’ Tote! Midway down the side of this white tote is a skirt of black, nubuck fringe. The contrast really makes the fringe pop. And this is just a hunch, but I think this is the beginning of another revival of the black/white “trend”. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
