I don’t know if you have noticed or not, but Anya Hindmarch has been doing something a little different lately. Traditional Anya Hindmarch handbags are simple in their design. The silhouettes are basic and the colors are pretty classic. They really are everything you could ever want in a sophisticated handbag. Heck, Anya Hindmarch even has an adorable signature adornment — the tiny gold tone bow — that identifies the designer without broadcasting it to the whole world. Recently though, things have changed in the world of Anya Hindmarch. I don’t know if this designer was bored with the simple designs or if the company just wanted to explore new options. Whatever the reason, the pieces floating around out there are rather unusual to say the least. I mean, who would have thought there would be a handbag with Tony the Tiger on it?
Now, it would seem that you can give your handbag a playful makeover. Wish your handbag had a smiley face? Or your initials were on it? Anya Hindmarch has found a way to make this possible. Created in collaboration with Charlotte Stockdale of Chaos Fashion, Anya Hindmarch has launched a leather sticker collection. These stickers are meant to give an old handbag new life. They could also be used to decorate a notebook or phone case. Here is the catch though… these stickers are permanent. This is good if you are afraid of them falling off. But this is bad if you change your mind later on down the road. So tread carefully!
